Did you know that we have a monument to honor Dwight D. Eisenhower? 🚗
This is located next to the ABAC`s Georgia Museum of Agriculture Country Store so after you pop off the interstate to shop & visit, stay a while. Tift County played a role in interstate history! Under President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s administration, construction on Interstate 75 through Tifton began in 1957 and wrapped up in 1960. A roadway that helped shape travel, commerce, and growth in South Georgia still connects us today.
