Before GPS, online reservations, and hotel apps, there was a postcard—and Tifton’s very own Holiday Inn was ready to welcome travelers! 🏨✨
This vintage postcard advertised the Holiday Inn in Tifton as being “in the heart of beautiful South Georgia’s recreational area,” with 192 rooms, a swimming pool, putting green, free airport transportation, and year-round temperature control. Talk about Southern hospitality with all the amenities! 😎🌴
📍 Located along I-75, U.S. 82 & U.S. 319, the old Holiday Inn was part of the Tifton travel experience for generations of visitors passing through South Georgia.
