Terms and Conditions for Submitting Community Events

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a community event to the Think Tifton, GA calendar, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please refrain from submitting events to the calendar.

2. Event Submission

2.1. Only individuals or organizations authorized to represent community events may submit events to the calendar.

2.2. Events must be open to the public and relevant to the community’s interests. Events promoting hate speech, violence, illegal activities, or discrimination will not be accepted.

2.3. Submitted events must include accurate and complete information, including event title, date, time, location, description, and any relevant links or contact information.

2.4. Events must be relative to non-residents of Tifton, GA, but may also apply to residents.

3. Review and Approval

3.1. All submitted events are subject to review and approval by the calendar administrators at the Tifton-Tift County Tourism Association.

3.2. The calendar administrators reserve the right to accept or reject event submissions at their discretion, without providing justification.

3.3. Events may be rejected if they do not meet the criteria outlined in Section 2 or if they are deemed inappropriate for any reason.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1. By submitting an event to the calendar, you grant the calendar administrators a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content on the website in any form.

4.2. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to submit the event and to grant the rights granted in Section 4.1.

5. Liability

5.1. Tifton-Tift County Tourism Association shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to event submissions, including but not limited to errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in submitted event information.

5.2. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tifton-Tift County Tourism Association from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your event submission.

6. Modification and Termination

6.1. The calendar administrators reserve the right to modify or terminate these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

6.2. If you violate these Terms and Conditions, your event submission may be removed from the calendar, and you may be prohibited from submitting future events.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tifton, Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
